  The lesson I am going to talk about is from the teaching m。aterial <Primary Engli。sh For China &g。t; Book One ,Unit 8 <Fruit>.the third part that is used by。 the kids in Grade One .

  一、Analysis of the teaching materia。l (说教材)

  This is a。 dialogue that happens in the fruit shop .several sentences surro。und  selling and buying the fruit will be learned .During the first and the second part in this unit ,the kids。 have understood simple instructions and act accordingly ,and they can say simple wor。ds ,phrases or sentences by looking at objects and the。 pictures。 .eg: lychee, b。a。nana, apple,"What’s this ?It’s an apple."In Unit seven。 ,we grasped the numbers from one to ten .The main language points in this unit is t。o make sentences using the fruit and numbers freely and。 communicate with others。 in  English in the fruit shop. And pay close attenti。on to。 the single and plural forms of the nouns .According to the kids’ English level and the corresponding content in the daily life ,I give them some extra extending .To tra。in their ability of communicate with the others in English ,I prepare the follow。ing design .

  We are facing t。he 5 to 6-year-old little kids who just graduated from the kindergarte。n ,and th。ey can not tell。 the difference between kindergarten and the primary school. sometimes they。 even don’t know how to behave in the class. So ,I think the most important。 thing for me to do is to attract their in。terests and make them love English an。d feel confident in this subject .so ,I will play so。me。 inte。resting games with them ,show t。hem the f。unny。 cartoon movie and role the plays in t。he text or have a competation. we should。 n。ot only focus。 on the language point itself。 ,but also set up the real circumstance where I can encourage them to express themselves be。tter .Wh。at I。 try my best to do is to arouse the kids’ in。teres。ts and pr。ot。ect their enth。us。iasm.

  三、Analysis of the teaching methods (说教法)

  <New English Lesson Standards> says that durin。g the Fou。ndation。 Education period ,the tot。al goal for English lesson is to improve the pupils’ abili。t。y of comprehensive using language .It promotes task teaching structure .According to the little kids’ physical and。 psychological charac。teristics of keeping cur。ios ,active and  imitating and showing themselves .I adopt the "task。 ?research—construct " te。aching metho。ds and。 organize the class to focus on the importance and solve the difficulties .I give the pupils an open and relaxed circumstance in which they can learn to observe ,think an。d discuss .during this procedure ,the pupils’ ability of thinking and using language is developed very well .

  四、Analysis。 of the teaching procedures .(说教学过程)

  All the class sing English song "Ten litt。le Indian boys。 " to arouse their。 interests and help them to s。tep into English learning circumstance happily.

  2. Review the fruit and t。he numbers those we learned in the first and the second part in this unit .(复习。数字和水果)

  Group work : Divide the class into eight gr。oups and every。 group will b。e decorated into a  fruit shop, ask one pupil to be the shopkeeper and the other member。s i。n this group will be the customers .Encourage them to buy and。 sell the fruit with what they learned in this part ,I design a real situation that is common in our daily life。 and the kids will not fee。l uncomfortable or unfami。lia。r wi。th it, The teacher will go around the class and supply the help to the unable ones .In s。uch a peace and pleasant situ。ation they like to speak the dialogue they learne。d to express。 themselves .They can feel the success and become confident in speaking Eng。lish .

  Third。ly, I’d like to analyze Ss and show you my teaching and learning methods.

  Grade 3 is the first year to learn English. Ss a。re very cu。rious about E。nglish。. They’re active and competitive. Also, the。y are good at imitating. But, their attention c。an’t be kept long. So it requires us to use a。ttra。ctive teaching ma。nners to hold Ss’ attention. Based on the ps。ychoanalysis and Ss’ interests, I mainly u。se the task-based appr。oach, which embodies the idea of the New Curriculum Standard and can help Ss keep their passion for English. I。n order to help S。s finish the。 task efficiently, I’ve prepared activities such as TPR, chanting, singing, game, etc. I also arrange individual work, pair work。 and group work for Ss to practice. Besides, praise is very important.。 When they have a cha。nce to speak, and have d。one a goo。d job, they can get a star or someth。ing like that on their books. It’s v。ery important to keep Ss’ interests.

  Fourthly, we come to the most important part—the teachin。g procedures. It can be divided into 5 steps: wa。rm-up, presentation, practice, ext。ension and homework.

  First, let’s look at step 1 "Warm-up".

  In this part, I’ll get the Ss to sing a song and do some。 revision.

  The purpose o。f singing a song is to attract Ss’ attention and make a relaxing atmosphere for Ss to concent。rate on the English class. The revision aims to help Ss revi。ew the word。s and sent。ences they hav。e learned be。fore and get them prepared for the new lesson.

  Step 2 "Presentation".

  As we kn。ow, children are characteriz。ed by image thinking. They can understan。d the co。ntent ea。sily with the help of the gestures. After the new w。ords are taught, a small conclu。sion can help them master better. And chant is a good way to strengthen their memory and make the poor fee。l con。fident, as well as their pronunciation and intonation. The cha。nt in this part is like this: A pen, a pencil, I can see.   Step 3 "Practice".

  Traditionally, there。 aren’t many chances offered for Ss to talk in the class。. Tha。t’s not a proper way to。 learn Eng。lish. So I’ll try some activities in my lesson, such as games and role play. Role play is a good way t。o improve their ability of language using.

  Step 4 is Extension.

  This step is very important and necessary. I ma。inly put key points and dif。ficulties in this part. Also, I’ll praise Ss’ behavior i。n this class.

  It can make Ss know more clearly about。 w。hat they have le。arned in this class, and pr。oper complements can help them hold their interests.

  Step 5 "Homework".

  (2)   Finish the exerc。ise book.
